There’s no such thing as a September Fool’s Day, so brace yourselves for this real news item…

The retired Staten Island Ferry that Saturday Night Live stars Pete Davidson and Colin Jost bought with the owners of The Stand will become a real-life floating comedy club for at least one night only, this Sept. 17, thanks to a tie-in with Snapple.

The show aboard the ferry will take place Thursday night, Sept. 17, at Pier 17, 89 South St., Manhattan, by the South Street Seaport near the Brooklyn Bridge. Davidson and Jost will host a free 60-minute stand-up showcase aboard the ferry, with Snapple providing free beverages and snacks.

Tickets will drop daily at 3pm Eastern from Sept. 3-8. Fans can claim one pair of free tickets for themselves and a guest at register.snappleislandferry.com.

The SNL pair and The Stand ownership had purchased the decomissioned ferry in a 2022 auction for roughly $280,000. Over the years, they’ve joked about their investment on SNL, but as Jost told the Smartless podcast earlier this year: “I joke about it a lot, but it is, we’ve done some events on it where we really have already made back the money we’ve invested and the money we’ve spent on stuff to dock it and all that.”
